Introducing Taffy!
Staaahp the press!
This 36 lb cutie was just pulled from the euthanasia list at Devore by an angel. They didn’t have room for her but couldn’t leave her behind to lose her beautiful life. They reached out to Daryl Ralison of Underdogs of Love Rescue and asked if he could take Taffy but he had just rescued a mama Pibble and her puppies and unfortunately the Inn was full. Daryl then contacted WCBR and we just couldn’t say no to that face! Just take a look at those stunning baby blues. One can really get lost in Taffy’s sparkly eyes and we did!
Taffy is 2 years old and fully vetted - so already spayed and UTD on her vaccinations … and she can hear just fine.
She is very friendly and an absolute sweetheart.
The shelter listed her as a Boxer-Frenchie mix. However, we have a sneaking suspicion there is some Aussie Shepherd in her as evident in her longer coat, full grown size and her blue peepers
She is a bundle of puppy energy and hasn’t had much leash training.Taffy is still very puppy like. Her ideal adopter would be someone active and doesn’t mind puppy brain.
Today, she proved to be our new Sorority Girl ready for the next pawty.
This silky soft girl is 72.9% Boxer and 27.1% Siberian Husky ... the elusive Siberian-Boxsky!
Laffy Taffy breed mystery has been revealed ... girlfriend is more Boxer than Husky! This explains her silky coat and attentive ear set ... and she is still looking for her forever home. We would love nothing more than to have a foster home for Taffy for the Holidays.

She is a bundle of puppy energy and hasn’t had much leash training. Taffy is still very puppy like. Her ideal adopter would be someone active and is willing to help her focus her puppy brain, socialization and learn to be a part of a household.
With consistent training, her athletic abilities, and curiosity, Taffy could do agility, luring courses, barn hunts and so much more. She LOVES learning new skills and having novel experience ... she just needs time, attention, unconditional love and someone to make deposits into her "bank of trust" so she can make some withdrawals in return.
Are you active? Looking for a petite fluffy girl to be your new walking/running partner for the New Year? She would love to be at your side helping you every step along the way.
** Please note: West Coast Boxer Rescue does not adopt female dogs to homes that already have a female dog.
