Meet Strawberry!
Strawberry is a 3.5 year old female Boxer currently located in Eastvale. She weighs about 85 pounds, is spayed, and will need her vaccinations updated and a microchip.
Strawberry lives with a family that includes children, dogs, and cats. She gets along well with the male Belgian Malinois in the home, but over the past year, she has had escalating fights with the female Lab/Pit mix, a common challenge when two females share the same household. Unfortunately, these fights have become unsafe for the children and difficult for the adults to manage, so for everyone’s safety, Strawberry needs to be rehomed.
Strawberry is housebroken but has never been crate trained. She walks well on a leash with an experienced handler using a prong collar and appropriate corrections but will pull when walked by the children. She currently lives with cats and mostly ignores them, though she may chase if unsupervised.
Strawberry would do well in a home with kids, male dogs, and/or cats (with proper introductions and supervision). We can take with a committed foster or adopter.

** Please note: West Coast Boxer Rescue does not adopt female dogs to homes that already have a female dog.
