Introducing Stella
Stella is an 11 year old female Boxer in San Clemente who needs a committed foster or adopter to help her live out her golden years with love and comfort. After being with her owner for her entire life, recent life changes have made it impossible for him to continue caring for her.
Weighing approximately 40 lbs, Stella has cropped ears and a docked tail. She is spayed, microchipped, and in need of updated vaccinations. Like many senior dogs, she has some lumps and bumps that should be checked out, though her vet previously advised that the one on her neck is fine as long as it doesn’t bother her.
Stella adores people and thrives in a home with older kids, as young children make her anxious. She’s not a match for small dogs, but she absolutely loves bigger ones, especially a gentle, tolerant male who doesn’t mind her constant companionship (and slobbery affection!). Her favorite place in the world is the beach, where she plays in the water like a puppy.
Right now, Stella is crated most of the day to keep her out of the trash, and she no longer sleeps in her owner’s room at night, leaving her crated then as well. She deserves a home where she’s cherished and free to be the loyal, loving companion she’s always been. Please let us know if you can open your heart and home to Stella as a foster or her forever home for her golden years.
Let’s give this sweet girl the retirement she deserves!

** Please note: West Coast Boxer Rescue does not adopt female dogs to homes that already have a female dog.
