Introducing Sierra
Sierra is an 11 yo boxer female in Calimesa. Sierra has only known one family her whole life. She has been a faithful and loving companion to all family members big, small and furry. She loves kids, dogs, and cats. With new dogs she prefers to meet one on one with slow introductions as she takes a little time to warm up.
She does not like groups of new dogs approaching her, but doesn’t react aggressively. Even though a senior, she still would love daily walks and a yard to play and run in, as well as plenty of indoor family time. Her family has recently moved to a condo and Sierra lost yard privileges, and her family no longer prioritizes time to walk her. And, sadly, after 11 years of having Sierra her owner now has asthma and allergies so Sierra is not allowed to roam freely around the home. She is confined to a small room for 8-12 hrs a day and at night. She is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, and microchipped, but needs to have her vaccinations updated. She is approximately 50 lbs.
Sierra needs a committed foster or adopter to help her enjoy her golden years in the way she deserves
** Please note: West Coast Boxer Rescue does not adopt female dogs to homes that already have a female dog.
