Meet Roxy!

Roxy is a 6 month old female Boxer mix located in Granada Hills. She’s up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and will need to be spayed. Roxy is both housebroken and crate trained, and she’s currently in professional training, doing great with commands like sit, stay, and place.

Roxy absolutely loves people and kids, and she enjoys playdates with other dogs. However, she has shown signs of resource guarding her person around the resident dogs in her current home. Because of this, we’re recommending she be placed in a home without other dogs to set her up for success. Her behavior with cats is unknown.

Originally found as a stray, Roxy’s current owner has lovingly worked for the past three months to integrate her into their pack, but it hasn’t been the right fit. We’re now searching for a committed foster or adopter who can provide the stable, supportive environment Roxy needs to continue building confidence and thrive.

** Please note: West Coast Boxer Rescue does not adopt female dogs to homes that already have a female dog.
