Rocky is a handsome 5-year-old male Boxer weighing approximately 60 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations and just needs to be microchipped.

Sadly, Rocky needs a new home because his owner has moved and is renting a room where there is no space for Rocky.

Rocky is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is great with people and has been around children ages 10 and older and has done very well with them. He currently spends his days outside and comes inside in the evenings.

Rocky has not had much socialization with other dogs and will growl when he sees them. We don’t know whether this behavior is something that could improve with proper socialization and a confident, experienced handler, or if Rocky simply prefers not to share his space with other dogs. For now, we are recommending an only-dog home where he can be the center of attention. His behavior with cats is unknown.

Rocky deserves a safe, stable home and a family who will give him the chance to settle in and thrive. We can help with a committed foster or adopter
