Meet Rocky 5.0!

(Yes, you read that right, our fifth owner surrender named Rocky this year!)

Rocky is a 4 year old male Boxer currently located in Fontana. He’s already on his second home, through no fault of his own. His first owners separated, and he was re-homed to his current owner, a family member, who has had him for two years but no longer has the ability to care for him.

Rocky has primarily been an outdoor dog, so he isn’t housebroken or crate trained yet. He walks well on leash but is strong and can pull at times. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, no, up, and down.

He currently lives with another dog and does well, but hasn’t been tested with dogs outside the home, so his behavior in new introductions is unknown. He hasn’t been around cats. Rocky is friendly with people and good with kids.

He’ll need the full package, neuter, microchip, and vaccinations, but most importantly, he needs a forever home committed to bringing him inside as part of the family. With time, training, and love, Rocky will thrive.

We’re looking for either a committed adopter or a foster willing to help this sweet boy get his fresh start.
