Introducing Polly!

Polly is an owner surrender due to not getting along with the 11 year old resident male Corso. Her owner drove her all the way down to Shanderin from Sacramento on Monday and it was a very sad goodbye with lots of tears. Naturally, Polly is confused and very shut down.

She did perk up during our walk today so I am hoping she will understand that she is safe and will be ok.

Polly is a 4 year old Boxer mix. She is already spayed and UTD on all her vaccinations. She is a bit stout at 65 lbs and can lose a few pounds since she is on the petite and short side. I found her to be very sweet and tends to lean into me. She is smart and listens- she knows sit, stay, come… and she is not reactive to any dogs out.

Maryann placed her in a run where she doesn’t have to walk past any barking dogs to help her settle.
