Welcome Baby Pink Floyd!

Pink is the last left from Hazel’s litter. Hazel brought over from Mexico had a puppy-daddy Malinois with her when she was found pregnant. WCBR offered to take in and find homes for mama and the pups. Pink is the last of the litter … why we’re not sure since in most of our opinions, she would have been the pick. This little girl is wicked smart, Boxer funny and ears that are bigger than her head … that she will one day grow into. Here is what her foster Mom has to say about her…

Well Miss Pink is 12 weeks old. She is well adjusted and much more well traveled in her short life than most puppies. She just got back from Big Bear. She has been boating, on a daily safari with foster brudder Bruce Banner. She is being handled by many family members and socialized every chance Erika gets. Her ears are standing which means she is teething so look out for an amazing Hollywood smile.

She is scary smart!!

Pink Floyd Update From PF’s foster mom, Erika:

We really do love her a lot. She’s definitely more Malinois than Boxer in behavior for sure. She’s wary around new people and other dogs, but usually warms up after some patience and time. She’s very smart and easily trainable! She’s working on some leash skills right now. She’s also very much a Velcro dog (the Boxer side lol).

She would definitely do best in a household where someone is home most of the day or where she can go where her owner goes. She’s still not a fan of the crate even though we work on it everyday, which is definitely a herding dog tick. She’s also very vocal! She loves to “talk” to Bruce when they’re playing or walking and is quick to let us know if she’s displeased. But she’s still a very curious and playful puppy and slowly starting to come into her own.

We actually think with the right training she could be an emotional support dog when she gets a bit older.

She also went to a dog party at Bruce’s daycare and got a lot of new socialization as well which was nice

** Please note: West Coast Boxer Rescue does not adopt female dogs to homes that already have a female dog.
