Meet Moses!

Moses comes to us as a surrender by a Good Samaritan who found him wandering stray in the desert. They tried to locate his owner but to no avail.

Moses is just a baby!  He is estimated to be 10 months old.  He is severely underweight at 45 lbs. so we are feeding him small meals throughout the day to get more junk in his trunk.  As our clinic manager, Jess, described him, he is the poster child for a Boxer,  “sweet, lovable, a nutcase”

I got to spend a lot of time with Moses today.  He was fairly decent on the leash after we got the kennel kraze out of the way.  He is very loving and friendly.  He didn’t really pay any mind to the cat that we encountered.

He is still such a puppy and will be amazing with more training.

Moses is a beautiful fawn with a black mask.  He has natural ears and a docked tail.  He needs major groceries at 45 lbs.  His coat is dry and shabby at the moment but should improve with better nutrition and TLC.  He has some scratches on his little body that looks to have possibly come from him hiding in dry bushes while he was running the mean streets of Palm Springs.  He is now UTD on all his vaccinations and microchipped.  Our vet recommended waiting to neuter until he gains a bit more weight on him

Welcome, Moses!! You are safe.
