Meet Mako!

Mako is a 3.5 yo male boxer currently located in Burbank. He is up to date on his vaccinations, but needs to be neutered and microchipped, and weighs approximately 65 lbs.

Mako is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash with either a prong or e-collar, otherwise he has a tendency to pull. He has been through an 8 week boot camp course, knows basic commands, and does well with his e-collar. He loves walks, playing fetch, going on car rides, and loving his adult humans.

So what doesn’t Mako like?  Well, he doesn’t do well with other dogs in the home. He resource guards toys and food. He also doesn’t do well with little humans, and will also resource guard food and will nip at them to show he doesn’t appreciate their play style. We are recommending a home as an only pet and with either older or no children.

Mako is being rehomed as his current home has both small dogs and small kids and the owners want to keep everyone safe.  We can take with a committed foster or adopter.
