Introducing Lucky!

Lucky, at 3.5 years young, is not looking so lucky. His family left the country, left him with the tenants that in turn abandoned him when they left … a Good Samaritan neighbor has taken him in, providing him food and shelter. Sadly, he is not coexisting well with the other dogs on the property so he remains outside and on tether until we can find him a foster home to land in. He is currently showing reactivity to the other dogs which is probably due to being tethered, so we are not sure if this is an acute behavior due to his situation. We will know better once we can work with him directly or have him with a foster to better evaluate him.

Lucky is a happy 3.5 year old. He loves people and can be a bit jumpy at first, he just needs to learn some new manners. He is good with cats, chickens and goats, walks well on leash. Lucky just needs a chance to decompress, feel safe and cared for so he can show us who he is and can be.
