Meet Kensington!

Introducing Kensington aka “Kensi”

Kensington came in with Eclair as they were pulled by our good friend, Maria of GSROC.

Kensi was so scared that she started to display very fearful behaviors such as growling.  We knew this was only because she was fighting for her life.  She was very shut down that our vet had to postpone her exams until she was able to decompress and calm down.   

This beautiful girl is estimated to be 3 years old, has natural ears and a docked tail.   Her fawn coat is thick, long and course.

Miss Kensi is cute in the face and thick in the waist at the moment.  She’s short so 61 lbs isn’t an ideal or healthy weight for her. Nonetheless , she is quite gorgeous.

Kensington is an absolute sweetheart. She was able to connect the dots today and understood that she was safe and that we are here to help her.

I am so grateful to be able to witness and experience that precise moment when our rescues go from a shut down and scared dog to one who knows love and safety.  It’s nothing short of magic and today was Kensington’s turn to bless me with that gift.
