Meet Joy.

Joy is a female sweet 10 week old Rottweiler mix puppy. She is black and tan, and sadly is blind in one eye. (Will need to have eye removed to keep bacteria from gathering in tissue once old enough.) She is very mellow temperament,  has met 200 people and 50 dogs (give or take) gets along with dogs and kids, is not potty trained, yet but working on it.  She accepts time away from sibling, Happy, and likes to explore, loves to cuddle and be next to her human. She is confident, displays independence, and seems pretty well rounded. She has had 3 DHPP and will need Lepo, Bordetella and Rabies at 12, 14 & 16 weeks … and has an appointment in February to be spayed. She has been checked by vet and is healthy. She does not know she is blind in one eye since this happened prior to eyes opening … her eye was punctured by sibling at just a few days  old. At this time we cannot tell if this has affected her depth perception, but doesn’t seem to be a problem. As her world widens she may have to adapt, but should do well and will have a normal life according to vet.
