Introducing Joshua!

Lil’ man Joshua showed up at a good samaritan’s door step one cold night in Phelan.  She listed him in the Phelan Animals lost and found which caught the eye of several of our Volunteers.

Our wonderful Sara reached out to the finder and coordinated “Operation Skinny Boy” and got the ball rolling on his rescue. Mari Beth grabbed lil man and delivered him to our vet Katella Animal Clinic where he received a complete work up.

Joshua was skin and bones and has many scared bite marks on his beautiful face and ears that have already healed.  Whatever attacks this sweet boy survived has not traumatized him. He is still playful, happy and pretty friendly with other dogs. What a resilient little boy.

He is estimated to be 1 years old and still very puppy like.  He loves to give kisses and is very affectionate.

He has such a cute face even with all the scars. Josh has natural ears, a docked tail and weighs 43 lbs at the moment.

Joshua is now UTD on all his vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed but will still need to have his man- berries removed.
