Welcome Isaiah & Harmony!

These two were picked up by Animal Control running stray together in San Bernardino.  We initially called to place a commitment to pull  Harmony (formerly Baby girl) and when SBC responded to our inquiry, they mentioned that she came in and was being kenneled with her friend, Isaiah.

We were only able to commit to also taking Isaiah if we had a foster in place. Luckily, Alyssa Bravo, answered our call to temp foster this senior baby and we were able to intake both dogs.  We are still looking for more long term foster for Isaiah.

About Isaiah.  This poor honey has severe dental wear and tooth loss. He is geriatric at 8 years old and has very poor body condition with prominent ribs, spine and pelvic bones. Nonetheless, this gentleman walked out of the shelter with his head held high.  He knew he was going to be safe .

Our hope is to give GrandPaw Isaiah some comfort and a soft place for the rest of his golden years. For now, he is safe and decompressing with the Bravo family.

4 year old Harmony is staying in boarding as we work on her medical needs and finding her a foster/adopter.  She is reportedly a very sweet girl and ready to be someone’s Valentine.

Lots of love and thanks to our amazing super mum, Bonny, for being Harmony and Isaiah’s angel.  I know you weren’t feeling well, but you still suited up and showed up to pull these babies out of harm’s way.

GrandPaw Isaiah Update 2/18/2026

GrandPaw Isaiah went to the vet yesterday to get looked at and have his KC treated. He weighed in at 56 lbs. He was 47 lbs at the shelter so he is doing great with his wonderful foster mom, Alyssa, who has been feeding him 4 small meals throughout the day. This approach prevents his system from going into shock and allows it to catch up from being starved while he and Harmony were out stray.

Look at him enjoying the company of a beautiful woman snuggling close! What a player.

He still needs to get his Rabies and neuter after he recovers. But we will see what the vet recommends with the neuter depending on the status of his health when they do the pre op. With proper nutrition and TLC he is receiving from the Bravo family, I am hoping he will be healthy enough to go through the surgery with no issues.
