Meet Harley!

Harley was surrendered to us because she became very sick with a high fever and swollen legs.  Her owners only had her for a short time before she developed this condition.  They had no way to pay for her treatment so sadly they were faced with surrendering her to WCBR.

We got her to Katella where she was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy (HOD). It is basically growing pains but very painful.  There’s still some swelling in her front legs but overall she is doing great.

I really can’t take her for a walk or play too rigorously with her. Right now she is just enjoying  our time with lots of cuddles and conversations.  She a delicate flower

She sure is cute and tiny for a 5 month old. And she has the most epic kidney bean dance.

Harley is sweet, affectionate, connects easily and just a silly, goofy little girl.  She is tiny for her age at 22.66 lbs

We are looking for a foster close to Katella or any vet partners.  Foster must have the ability to take her to the emergency clinic should she have another flare up.

If you are interested in fostering Harley, please fill out our adoption/foster application.

** Please note: West Coast Boxer Rescue does not adopt female dogs to homes that already have a female dog.
