Gunner 2.0

Welcome Gunner 2.0!

Gunner 2.0 is a 6 yo male boxer mix currently located in Redlands. He is neutered and microchipped but needs his vaccinations updated. He weighs approximately 50 lbs. Gunner was adopted by his current family about a month ago. At the time they were told he was very lazy and laid back. Gunner is actually very energetic with multiple zoomies episodes a day and needs more training and attention than his family can handle.

Gunner is a sweet and loving dog that is learning his training as fast as he can, he just needs an owner that can be consistent with training. He is learning sit and learning to be walked. When approached by other dogs on their walks, Gunner just sits with no reaction. He is house broken and crate trained, but will be destructive when bored during the day if not properly exercised. Because of this destructive chewing, he has currently been banished to the yard.

We believe Gunner could do well with another dog in the home.  In his first home he lived with a small female dog and did well. He also currently lives with a cat and mostly ignores it, even when it ate out of his food dish in front of him. He can be mouthy when playing, so older kids are probably a better fit for him. He currently lives with kids and has met many of their friends and has been a very good boy.

Gunner needs a committed foster or adopter. Preferably a strong and active leader that will be consistent with his training and exercise.
