Apollo is an approximately 3-year-old male boxer currently in Avila Beach. He is neutered but needs his vaccinations updated and needs to be microchipped. He weighs approximately 65 lbs. Apollo is being rehomed due to a death in the family.
He is a happy, energetic boy who loves to run, play, and carry around his favorite toys. Apollo is very social and loves meeting new people and kids, although his excitement can sometimes get the best of him and he may jump up to say hello. He is friendly and non-aggressive and would benefit from continued training to work on his manners.
Apollo is housebroken and knows how to use a dog door. He is good with other dogs and has also done well with cats. He can pull on leash when he gets excited, so he will need an owner willing to continue working on his leash skills. He would be a great fit for an active home that can give him plenty of exercise, attention, and opportunities to play.
